Kissed At Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week

Vitalii Sediuk, also known as the Red carpet prankster, reportedly decided to make an appearance at the Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week show last week.

After targeting many stars on the Red carpet, including Kim Kardashian and Kayne West, Sediuk decided that his next target would be model Miranda Kerr, according to Yahoo News.

Sediuk was reportedly seen kissing Kerr on the cheek as she was walking down the Red carpet. The mother of four-year-old Flynn Bloom reportedly remained calm and walked away from the scene.

Kerr wasn’t the only one that was targeted by the Ukrainian media personality. Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour also encountered Sediuk during the Chanel show in Paris on October 5, according to Us Magazine.

Sediuk was reportedly seen giving Wintour “bunny ears” before being rushed away by her bodyguards.

Sediuk has reportedly previously crawled underneath America Ferrara’s skirt and received assault charges from Brad Pitt. That clearly hasn’t stopped him from being a nuisance at media events.

What may have previously been seen as a joke has become a serious issue.

“People thought it was funny when he streaked at New York Fashion Week, but this was something beyond entertainment reporting. He’s gone too far,” Sediuk’s former publicist, Christa Scherck, told PEOPLE.

“Vitalii’s behavior and antics have become increasingly disturbing. It’s apparent he has real issues that need to be dealt with.”

The show will also feature three musical artists this year: Selena Gomez, the Weeknd and Rihanna, who made headlines when she performed her breakout single, “Phresh Out The Runway,” from her Unapologetic album at the 2012 show.

The annual event will be held in New York City and will air on CBS Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. ET. Check out the latest details on the upcoming event, as well as videos from last year’s performances, here.

Pigtails Are Officially High-Fashion

Pigtails and high-fashion may not sound like they go together, but this season, they became BFFs in a major way. At shows like Miu Miu, Chanel, Marni, and Mara Hoffman, hairstylists send the models down the runway with two tails flopping off either side of their shoulders — with interesting accessories and textures that made the little-girl style all grown-up.

And even better, they also happen to be the perfect weekend hair inspiration. Greasy roots? Miu Miu’s interpretation calls for one of the coolest headbands from the back of your closet. Flat hair? Chanel likes you just the way you are. Dying to finally channel your country icon Willie Nelson? We’re telling you, there’s a version for everyone.

Chanel
If Karl Lagerfeld’s charming sketch of the le double catogan (or double ponytail) at Chanel’s spring show isn’t inspiration enough, consider this: the style works on whatever texture you woke up with. Make two low ponytails and clip them together with a cool, oversizedbarrette. (These Chanel ones, featuring double clips, were made especially for this look.)

Marni
Designer Consuelo Castiglioni sent colorblocked, ’70s-esque pieces down Marni’s spring runway, so hairstylist Paul Hanlon created graphic, sleek pigtails to match.

To create the layered look seen here, divide each pony into three parts, secure the center one with an elastic at the nape of your neck, then cross the side sections over it and secure with pins. Finish with a heavy coating of shine spray.

Mara Hoffman
Calling all country fans: The plaits at Mara Hoffman were inspired by Willie Nelson. In fact, models even walked the runway to the iconic singer covering Ella Fitzgerald’s classic, “Blue Skies.”

To score the look, keep your part sharp and elastics invisible. Then, neatly tie a folded scarf around the back of your head and over the plaits.

Miu Miu
Miu Miu’s show was all about unexpected touches: Lingerie over clothes, an inky ombré lip courtesy of Pat McGrath, and slightly messy, classic pigtails adorned with metal flower crowns.

Lightly mist your low pigtails with dry shampoo or texturizing spray to get the full aery effect. Then, finish with your favorite metallic headband.

When Naeem Khan debuted his first bridal collection in 2013, he irrevocably changed the industry, generating more buzz and excitement than anyone I can remember. Cyber Monday Deals: Top Deals on Men’s Watches

1851 was a pretty big year for innovation, to say the least, whether you are considering the chartering of Northwestern University in Chicago, the invention of condensed Milk, or perhaps the premiere of Robert Schumann’s 3rd Symphony. All of these are monumental historic events, but one we are overlooking is the founding of Patek Philippe, a Swiss ultra-luxury watch manufacturer. The company made their start in Geneva, and began to produce what history would come to remembers as the most complicated mechanical watches in the world. Many experts at the time began to throw their weight behind the brand, comparing it to names like Vacheron Constantin and A. Lange & Sohne.

To say that these watches have been well loved throughout the years would be a severe understatement. In fact, some of the past owners of these ultra-luxury watches have included Pope Pius IX, Queen Victoria, and many, many more. It is no surprise that this prestigious watch company has survived to modern day and is still offering some of the most prestigious watches to those who are interested and of course those who have the money. Then again, one must have the required taste to enjoy the complicated nature of these incredible time pieces.

Time pieces have come quite a long way since the old days, as you might already realize, but they have stayed the same at their very core. Sure, digital watches and smartphones have made their bid to replace the watch, and while it might be more convenient, it will never replace the mechanical watch that has served us for centuries. Are you ready to own what could undoubtedly be defined as a piece of history? If so, then taking a look at TrueFacet Patek Philippe mens watches might give you a great starting point.

Cyber Monday Approaches

Patek Philippe watches are well known and they are incredible to own, but one must consider the cost. If you have taken a look at the website, then you already know the watches are a bit on the pricey side. As Cyber Monday approaches however, and retailers are finally looking to balance their books, the prices of the Patek Philippe time pieces are going down considerably, giving you an advantage and an opportunity that you might not have any other time of the year. That being said, it’s time for you to step up your time game, if you know what we mean.

Styles Galore

There are going to be plenty of styles available at the Cyber Monday sale giving you an opportunity to not only pick up one of the famous Patek Philippe models, but also a plethora of other famous brands including Rolex. That being said, now would be a great time to take a look at your bank account or pocket book and quickly determine what you wish to obtain at this next cyber Monday sale. It won’t be long before you have an amazing watch that does far more than simply tell time.

Runwaylive image_2

More than Time

While these watches might have the ability to help you tell time (that is what they are for, of course), you will also find that they become a status symbol. It might be ‘just a watch’, but it is also a way to show that you have taste, a way to show that you are refined. A watch like this could help to bring many opportunities your way. From that job interview you really need to nail, to the social circle you’ve been trying to find your way into, you might just find your way in, and it might just be because of the watch you choose to invest in.

It’s quite true, a watch like this is more than a purchase – it is an investment, and it is a time piece that you may find yourself passing down to the next generation one day. Also, remember, when you wear a Patek Philippe model watch, you are literally wearing a piece of history – a feat of modern engineering perfected over the course of a century and designed to keep time accurately in a way that few other time pieces can.

Are you ready to own one? Are you ready for the accuracy it brings along with the amazing status symbol that it will allow you to become? Start looking over the website today and decide what you might want to find yourself wearing tomorrow. These, among the several other brands being offered up on a platter for Cyber Monday are some of the best watches in the world and it’s time for you to take your piece of it. Time is starting to run out, so make sure that you can keep track of it.

Game of Thrones wins best drama, shatters Emmy record

Game of Thrones is the king of the Emmys.

The 67th Annual Emmy Awards crowned HBO’s fantasy hit with its highest honor Sunday night, with Thrones winning the award for outstanding drama series.

Not only did Thrones snap its drama category runner-up streak, but the series picked up Emmys for outstanding supporting actor (Peter Dinklage), writing (David Benioff and Dan Weiss) and direction (David Nutter) on Sunday night. With a total of 12 Emmys this year (including eight won at the previously held Creative Arts Emmys), Thrones broke a major record by surpassing The West Wing to take home more TV Academy awards in a single year than any other show. Thrones easily beat the White House drama’s 2000 record of nine wins in one year.

Nominated for outstanding drama for each of its five seasons, Thrones lost the last two years to AMC’s Breaking Bad. This year, many bet AMC’s other critical darling and four-time previous winner Mad Men would reclaim the throne for its final season. Yet Thrones managed its first drama series win after racking up more nominations than any program, and only lost one major category for which it was nominated (Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke each lost best supporting actress to Uzo Aduba for Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black). Previously, the only top category won by the show was Dinklage’s 2011 supporting actor victory for the show’s first season.

The Thrones team’s speeches were low-key. Accepting the award for outstanding drama series, Benioff and Weiss thanked the show’s cast and crew and HBO for taking a chance on them and “believing in dragons.” Dinklage said he didn’t have anything prepared (and genuinely seemed like it), and gave a shout-out to the other nominees — particularly Better Call Saul’s Jonathan Banks, who was the odds-on favorite to win.

Backstage, the showrunners were asked by reporters why Thronesfinally won this year. “We knew that there would be some resistance at first to a show set in this genre … we knew it would take a while,” Benioff said. “But we’d hoped if we did our jobs and if we were fortunate enough to be blessed with the cast and crew that we were blessed with … and if we got lucky, that we’d get there eventually.”

The victory must be particularly sweet for the Thrones team given the controversy surrounding season 5. Thrones has raised eyebrows and generated pundit protest every year for its brutal depiction of a world inspired by Medieval Europe, but complaints reached a fever pitch during season 5 after a young likable character was raped and another was burned alive (a U.S. senator famously declared she was quitting Game of Thrones).

But showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have remained stalwart throughout the saga that they’re going to remain true to creator George R.R. Martin’s world and not adjust their narrative based on fandom reactions. The producers also declined to make the Hollywood media rounds during Emmy voting season to drum up support for their show, as is customary for nominated producers, and instead remained focused on making season 6. So despite drawing more controversy than any program this year and refusing to play the “game of Emmys” with the press, Thrones still took the top prize, and on their own terms.

Fellow showrunner Damon Lindelof, who produces HBO’s The Leftovers, was among those who made a compelling case for GoT to take the top prize. “As someone who makes television, I watch that show and I do not know how they do it,” Lindelof told EW in a discussion of the show’s fifth season. “When I was watching [episode 8] “Hardhome” this season, I was just like, “That’s one of the most excellent hours of television I’ve ever seen. It’s excellent for different reasons than ‘The Suitcase’ episode of Mad Men is excellent, but it’s just amazing.”

Here is a complete list of 2015 Emmys won by GoT this year:

— Outstanding Drama Series
— Outstanding Supporting Actor (Peter Dinklage)
— Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series (David Benioff and Dan Weiss, “Mother’s Mercy”)
— Outstanding Direction in a Drama Series (David Nutter, “Mother’s Mercy”)
— Outstanding Make-Up for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic)
— Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series
— Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary or Fantasy Program (One Hour or More) (“High Sparrow,” “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” “Hardhome”)
— Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series (“Hardhome”)
— Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Scripted Series (“Hardhome”)
— Outstanding Special Visual Effects (“The Dance of Dragons”)
— Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series
— Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series

MARC JACOBS CLOSES NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

WITH A NIGHT AT THE THEATER

Watch it on RUNWAYTV.com on live feed all this week.

Americana gets a jazzy, glamorous makeover this season.

by DHANI MAU via Google Feeds

As you’ll probably read in a lot of write-ups of Thursday night’s show, Marc Jacobs is a true showman, and his seasonal runway shows are not just about the clothes — they’re about creating an experience, and that was especially true for spring 2016.

For me, said experience began at about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday, when the conductor on the B train announced that it would be running local, and then we stopped moving altogether for what felt like a very long time. Soon, another Ziegfeld theater-bound showgoer on the train informed my friend and I that she heard they would be “closing the doors” at the venue promptly at 5:50. (While everyone knows Marc Jacobs starts his shows on time, we thought we’d be okay rolling in at, like, 5:57.)

Panic ensued, but we miraculously made it out of the 7th Avenue subway stop by 5:50 and proceeded to (literally) sprint the two and a half blocks to the theater. Of course, as always happens when you sprint to a fashion show, we made it with time to spare — and to grab some much-needed water and popcorn from the fully stocked concession stand. (A major publicist even told me, somewhat sternly, to “relax” and “stop running” as I arrived.)

Then I remembered I was in a theater. The venue was arranged so that models walked outside onto a red carpet, where photos were taken in front of a Marc Jacobs step and repeat (like a movie premiere!), then into the bottom floor lobby, then up the escalators to the second floor concession area (where I was seated), then into the actual theater, where a live jazz orchestra played and really good Instagrams were taken.

If the venue itself wasn’t enough of a distraction, Katie Grand put together an all-star cast of models that demanded to be iPhone-photographed: Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Bella Hadid, Karen Elson, Emily Ratajkowski and even The Gossip singer Beth Ditto — a longtime Jacobs muse — truly stole the show. Meanwhile, Bette Midler, Sofia Coppola, Winona Ryder, Sandra Bernhard, Dianna Agron and Debi Mazar all sat front row.

You might think that all that, plus the blaring, cacophonous music, would distract from the clothing. But nothing could distract from this clothing: If the models were supposed to look like they’d been out all night, they must have raided a Broadway costume archive before they started partying.

While “costume-y” is not typically considered a positive way to describe fashion, it worked here, because it was clearly Jacobs’s intention and the clothes were well done — and styled perfectly. Turning up the volume even further than he did last season, he showed more colorful, sequined gowns than we’ll likely see all awards season. Fourties-inspired suits and outerwear printed with the faces of actresses from a bygone era also demanded attention. Interspersed between the more formal, statement-making looks were some worn out-looking collegiate sweaters — great street style bait for next season and, perhaps, an example of how the now defunct Marc by Marc Jacobs has been folded into the main line. The same can be said about the long-sleeved American flag tees, simple flannel button-downs and a denim jacket covered in patches. There was an Americana theme that pervaded the bold collection.

Jacobs also presumably devoted the resources that used to go into the Marc by Marc show to create a bigger, better event for his main line, the best part of which may have been the finale. Because of the complex runway, things got backed up about halfway through, and the last few models — Jenner, Smalls and Elson among them — were stuck walking extremely slowly… much like how us normal folk walk out of a movie theater. As fun as the show was, we were all exhausted from the week, and a crowd of impatient guests got up and walked out right alongside them.

It was an amazing way to end New York Fashion Week and more than worth the sprint, from which I am still winded, but wondering: How is Jacobs going to possibly top himself next season?
