42 brands will be participating in the show, while 1 brand will be participating via a fashion films in addition to the 9 brands participating in the exhibition. The whole week will be devoted to announcing new creations for the 2011SS season!
JFW in Tokyo aims to strengthen Tokyo’s functions as a hub for fashion business from the following perspectives:
We will build a framework that will give young designers with an interest in the Asian market an opportunity to try their hand in Tokyo.
We will continue to improve operations to present fruitful meet-ups between designers, manufacturers, and the apparel and retail industry.
We pursue broadened business opportunities not only for fashion,
but also for designs around life such as interior design.
Tokyo will become a more exciting place to live and work.
