This was a sight to behold as I watch Andreas Melbostad’s masterpieces, the designer of Diesel Black Gold, showcase his spring 2014 collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City. His spring collection shown Tuesday September 10th at Vanderbilt Hall looked very rock ’n’ roll, and a little bit dirty. Mr. Melbostad is turning out to be a great choice of designer for Diesel Black Gold. His second collection had a lot of super chic denim, with a tough edge, but still feminine. The distressed pastel boyfriend jeans, with patches and rips, were clear winners, as were the short shorts and tight jeans perforated and printed to look almost like snakeskin. Among the stylist and buyers, sat celebrity stars like Adrien Brody, Kanye West, and Angela Simmons!
