There was definite edgy attitude in the air tonight with the fashion seen throughout the evening, however it wasn’t more apparent than during the Meat Packing District collection presentation.

Models exuded personality with sassy poses and smoldering stares. Oversized shoulder silhouettes, black lace cut-outs and sequins eluded to an 80’s vibe, while the men rocked distressed denim, cargos and black leather.

The piece de resistance was the parachute dress seen in acid green.

If cavemen and women put on fashion shows in between hunting for food and trying to outrun sabertooth tigers, I believe that this would be the show that would be presented. Rugged and raw, Camille put on a fiercly hot show for her latest collection. Tribal inspired, the true beauty shined through in her elaborate headwear that completed each look. Cut-out bathing suits and bikinis, some embellished with fur, were worn with silky capes and headdresses, while dresses were adorned with high necks and even higher leg slits, calling to the wild woman in us all.

House of Devali presented a show of good vs. evil with their latest collection. The pieces, in a contrasting palette of black and white, were edgy, funky and daring. In the white collection, fringe accents were worn as angel wings with white one-pieces, while crop tops were embellished with sleeves of oppulent fur. The black collection featured sheer mesh fabrics and corset tops, lending a darker, more sensual edge to the overall line. The fur sleeves returned again, this time on a black mini dress that was to die for when paired with the perfect black ankle bootie.

The crowd gathered amidst the garden courtyard to enjoy live music, hor d’ourves and cocktails while being photographed amongst the covers of Runway, all which were blown up into oversized prints, the latest of which features the luminous actress/musician Taryn Manning.

The icing on the cake to the bustling star-studded cocktail reception was the grand scale fashion show that took place inside the venue. The show featured six unique designers that offered an array of jaw-dropping trending fashions.

Designers who were a part of the Swarovski Collective this season include Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Wes Gordon and Brandon Sun for NYFW; while Emilia Wickstead, Michael van der Ham, Mary Katrantzou, Fyodor Golan and Huishan Zhang gave their lines an added glimmer in London.
