LOEWE x On has released its Fall Winter 2026 collection, led by two shoes with opposing proportions. The Cloudsolo Hiker adds an outdoor vocabulary around a substantial sole, while the Cloudtilt Cosmic narrows a familiar profile. The October 15 launch turns that comparison into a wardrobe decision, with ready-to-wear extending the contrast beyond footwear.

LOEWE x On takes two routes through the sole

On’s official collection announcement gives the Cloudsolo Hiker a cloud heel and lugged outsole. Marble rubber, custom hooks and two-tone rounded laces make its construction more visible. The fastening becomes part of the shoe’s appearance rather than disappearing into a smooth upper.

That concentration of detail changes the meeting point with trousers. A hem landing just above the shoe exposes the hooks and lacing. A longer leg lets the sole carry more of the argument. The model can therefore look different without changing anything about the shoe itself.

The Hiker comes in sand, dark khaki, black and fox red. A muted shade gives the outline more responsibility, while the red can make the whole foot an accent. Neither color choice removes the need to consider how much of the upper the intended clothing will show.

Cloudtilt Cosmic reduces the visual bulk

The Cloudtilt Cosmic gives the existing Cloudtilt a slimmer profile. On identifies a new CloudTec Phase bottom unit with a visible arch and larger cavities. Engineered mesh, transparent layers and Anagram stitching contribute different kinds of detail above the sole.

Here, open space is part of the design. The visible cavities interrupt the solid-looking lower edge, while the upper supplies another, finer surface. That can make the shoe read differently beneath a broad trouser even before color enters the comparison.

The release overview identifies both models within the October 15 collection. They are distinct silhouettes, not two names for a seasonal color update. Begin with that distinction before treating the partnership’s branding as the main reason to choose between them.

The clothes continue the outdoor reference

LOEWE x On includes micro-ripstop jackets, a packable poncho and pleated cargo trousers. These pieces introduce another balance between a broad outer shape and the smaller details of pockets or openings. The outfit does not have to repeat the shoe’s construction at every level to remain connected.

A poncho can supply a strong perimeter above a relatively narrow leg. Cargo trousers introduce more activity lower down. Combining both asks the footwear to hold its place against a larger amount of fabric, which makes the sole’s apparent weight relevant to the complete figure.

The RUNWAY Designers category follows collaborations through those changes in proportion. LOEWE x On offers a useful example because the clothes and shoes have separate formal decisions. A person can take one of them into an existing wardrobe without needing the full campaign arrangement.

Rosie Marks follows artists in motion

Rosie Marks photographed and directed the campaign, featuring Joan Jonas, Martine Syms and Tarek Atoui. Their practices supply a different setting for the collection from a conventional athletic performance demonstration. The campaign follows movement between creative work and the environments around it.

That context gives the wearer a role beyond displaying equipment. Clothing can accompany a working day that includes several kinds of movement, without every journey becoming a sporting event. The photographs place the technical-looking pieces beside a wider set of actions and surroundings.

Jonas, Syms and Atoui also bring distinct identities to the project. Their presence should not flatten into a claim that all artists dress or work alike. The campaign’s useful proposition is variation: the same collection enters different practices, with the individual supplying the reason for movement rather than the outfit dictating one.

Choose the shoe beneath a real trouser

Compare the complete silhouette, including the sock and hem. A close product photograph can make lacing seem dominant, while a full-length view may leave only the toe and sole visible. Those two images answer different questions and deserve separate attention before a purchase.

Try a broad leg beside a narrower one where a fitting is possible. The Hiker’s lower edge may create a more deliberate stop beneath loose fabric. The Cosmic’s reduced profile may leave the trousers carrying more of the volume. These are styling possibilities, not fixed rules about who should wear either model.

The same restraint applies to technical expectations. A hiking reference explains part of the visible design. It does not, on its own, settle suitability for a particular route or outdoor condition. Product specifications and fit remain more useful than inferring a complete performance test from the name.

Check the current listing rather than the announcement image

The October 15 release covers selected LOEWE and On stores and online channels. Exact availability depends on the model, market and size. Earlier announcement photographs remain useful for comparing construction, while the live product page supplies the purchasing information that can change after launch.

For RUNWAY Magazine, the stronger choice starts with the wardrobe around the shoe. The Hiker and Cosmic organize the lower edge differently. Let the trouser reveal which proportion works before the collaboration name settles the decision.
